During Catholic Schools Week some parents were asked to respond to some questions. Here is the response of one parent.

HAS YOUR  PERSPECTIVE ON "FAITH" CHANGED FROM YOUR TEENAGE YEARS?

Very Much.  Faith in God and people in general was very short-sighted in my teenage years.  I believed in my own self-centered concepts and could not see life past my immediate surroundings.  As I have matured, I have seen faith grow.  I just don't believe because, or the same way my parents did. Life experiences have shown the depth of my true faith.

HAVE THERE BEEN LIFE EVENTS THAT HAVE  TESTED OF YOUR FAITH?

Oh Yes. More than  I can count on my two hands.  We have had tests of faith from the very beginning of our married life to the present. Sometimes just when you think your faith is as solid as it gets, a whirlwind will come and throw you around.  Your faith always remains but may be sought in different ways.

WHAT MESSAGE OF FAITH WOULD YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN TO REMEMBER?

God is always there for you no matter what.  Just like your parents. Believe in Him and He will bless you.
