Week Rocks with Spirit  (09.09.2006 09:48:00) FOOTBALL GAMES A BLAST  - Where else can you find football scores like 34-0, 35-0 and 49-12. Well, this past week the Freshman Team beat Reagan, the JV Team beat Smithson Valley and the Varsity Team beat Cornerstone. Amidst the rain the crowd took in every play with an awe and excitement that allows for a great start of the football season. Rigor, Relevance and Results are evident from your efforts. Congratulations guys for an awesome exhibition.  STUDENT EFFORTS - You will find pictures that relate to the various student activities that students have been engaged in over the last few weeks. Congratulations to all but especially to the Freshman Class who is adapting well and exhibiting great leadership. And, what a super Pep Rally and Fall Spirit Night. There is a reason that students say "Antonian Rocks". PROTECT YOUR HEART SEMINAR - About twenty-five parents participated in the PROTECT YOUR HEART Seminar this weekend. The program calls for parents to be in the FRONT ROW SEATS when it comes to the development of character and self-esteem of their children. After all, with their assistance, it is the repetition of virtues that develops character. Lastly we learned that, in addition to guiding and teaching them, we must learn to simply love our children.
