Runners Place at State(10.24.2006 15:30)MATT GADZA AND MARTIN MCKENZIE PLACE IN TOP TEN Since August, our Cross Country runners have been waking at 5:30 a.m. to be on campus by 6:30 in order to train and run five miles a day. Some have ask what motivates these runners? The answer lies within their hearts as determination and grit are often the defining characteristics. We congratulate all runners for their enthusiasm and the way they represented Antonian at the State Meet. Although a state championship would allude them this year, they ran with such Apache Pride. We especially want to congratulate Matt Gadza and Martin McKinzie for having placed 4th and 9th in the state meet. Congratulations also goes to Natalie Sciano,  Kaileigh Byrne, Greta Porisch, Katari Whitley, Kelsey Caroline, Rachel Cuellar and Ashley Fitzpatrick. The girl's team placed 5th overall. The boys team was comprised of Matt Gadza, Martin McKenzie, Jose Campos, Bernardo Lopez, Danny Hernandez, Jorge Aburto and JoHann Porisch. The boy's team place 4th overall. CLICK FOR MORE INFORMATION
