Drum Major is Marie Tipps and Drum Major for the Apache Band for the year 2004-2005 is John Madden! Thanks to all that trying out Mr. Rod is very proud of all of you. Go Apache Band!

*Attention: All students, athletes and non athletes alike we are throwing a party of the year to celebrate the departure of the infamous coach Devyln Lovell. The party begins at 6:30pm at the Antonian Track on Thursday night. Come and join us while we run one more lap around the track for our favorite coach!

*Mathew's closet meeting today after school at 3:35pm for officers next year so we can continue working during the summer. Please all members attend including new members running for office! We will also be leaving for the Sam's Shelter tomorrow at 3:45.

*Thursday we will be taking pictures during advisory for Mu Alpha Theta, Mathew's Closet, Medical Team, and Chess Club.

*Friday we will be taking pictures during advisory for the Spanish Club, Theology Club, and Literary Club.

*All Track uniforms MUST be turned into Coach Hines before Wednesday, May 19. Late fees will be assessed if uniforms are turned in before the deadline. Please put the uniforms in a grocery sack with the athletes name on it. Are you sad that the track season is over? Well the track coaches are having a Track Clearance sale with t-shirts, notebooks, hoodies, beanies, and backpacks marked down to rock bottom prices. Come by and see Coach Hines in the gym for great end of the season deals.

*Congrats to Evan Tupa and Lindsay Dye for competing in the TAPPS State Golf Tournament on Monday and Tuesday at the Pecan Valley Golf Course. Lindsay ended up in 2nd place in the entire state! Although Evan did not fair as well, he has still represented Antonian extremely well over the past four years. Thank you Evan for your dedication, commitment, and leadership to the Golf program. You will be missed.

*Congrats to the boys and girls track teams as they competed in the Daetwyler Relays this past Saturday! New school records were set, as well as a new City record by Christina Mueller. Great job!!

*Congratulations to Antonian's Senior Evan Tupa for placing 9th in Northside's San Antonio Boys Golf Championship held at Pecan Valley Golf Course this past weekend. Evan fired a 77 to lead the Apaches with over 121 golfers from around the city. Way to go Evan! We are proud of you!!

*The city of San Antonio does not allow coffee expenses for senior citizens nutrition centers. Senior citizens are asked to pay for their own coffee. *Congratulations to the Girls Soccer team. They ended their season this past Saturday District Champions. They played their heart out for the Regional title but came up short. The score was Trinity Christian Addison-3, Antonian-2. Thank you for all of the support throughout their season. Great job girls!

*For the first time in five years our boys basketball team has won the district championship. Our boys as well as our girls will play in the Regional Championship at 6:00/7:30 on Friday February, 20th. Congratulations basketball teams!!

Baumberger-please turn in completed application no later then Wednesday, Feb. 11th. THEA Test: The deadline to register for the March 6th THEA Test is February 6. Applications are in the Guidance Office.

*Fellow students we need your help. The Boy's and Girl's soccer teams host the Regional Championship this Saturday. The Girl's will play at 2:00 pm against Trinity Christian Addison and the boy's will follow at 4:00 against Nolan Catholic High School of Fort Worth. We need to pack the stadium and cheer our teams onto a victory. A win will not only give them the title of Regional Champions but it will send them to the Final Four in Waco. Good Luck teams!!

*Special thanks to all the people who tried out for the Advocate Society this morning. Since we were unable to hear all present, try outs will be extended for those who were unable to deliver.

*Congratulations to the Boys basketball teams for remaining undefeated in district. The boys record is now 6-0. Our Freshman, JV, and Varsity will try to complete district undefeated this week when they take on St. Augustine (Laredo) at Home on Tuesday and at St. Joe's Victoria this Friday. They will need your support this Tuesday, so come out and cheer them on!!

*Congrats to the Lady Apache Basketball teams! This past Saturday they defeated Brownsville, St. Joseph's. This game resulted in a District title for all three teams! The Freshman and JV have won District six years in a row, and the Varsity have won the District title three years in a row. Great Job ladies!!

*Congrats to the Antonian Advocate Society, who dominated the St. Anthony's Debate Tournament. They took 1st and 3rd place. Another Congrats to Josh Sandoval for taking 3rd in the city at the UTSA Gray Matters debate! Great Job!!

*Every five minutes, someone learns that they have leukemia, lymphoma, or another type of Blood cancer .The Antonian Med Team has been invited to participate in Pennies for Patients, a fundraiser to help fund research for a cure for leukemia and to support people with it. You can help by bringing your spare change to Advisory. Remember, every penny counts.

*Attention Seniors: If the college you are applying to required a mid-year report, you will need to bring in your part of the report by the end of the week so that we can mail the reports before the February 1 deadline. Scholarships: Please come by the counseling office and pick up an application for the Ford Scholarship and Baumberger Scholarship.
