Yearbook~ Seniors! Please wear your college tshirt for graduation practice on Friday. We will be taking a yearbook photo that day.

Yearbook~ Attention Juniors, if you signed up for yearbook please come see Ms. Carse for a workshop that will be coming up on the 22nd of May. You need to get a permission slip!

Counseling~ Attention Juniors, UT Health Science Center has a summer program in Biomedical research in health professions! Please go to the Counseling Office if interested.

Rosary Club~ Attention Rosary Club members! Today is the last day to submit your permission slips to visit the Childrens' hospital tomorrow. Please submit them to Miss Angela.

Choir~ There will be a special rehearsal for the Baccalaureate Mass Choir this Wednesday after school. Contact Mr. Kokotajlo for more information.

Track&Field~ Congratulations to the boys and girls track and field teams as they competed in the TAPPS State Championships this past Friday and Saturday.The boys were lead by Anthony Gallardo, who finished 1st in the 3200m and the 1600m and Douglas Bradshaw, who finished 2nd in the 300m Hurdles. The boy’s team finished 8th overall in the team competition.The girls were paced by Bridgette Kozar, who finished 1st in the 3200m, while also setting a NEW SCHOOL RECORD, and 2nd in the 1600m.  The girl’s team finished 4th overall in the team competition.

Cross Country~ All students interested in being a part of the 11 time State Champion Cross Country team next season will need to attend a meeting on Thursday, May 16th at 7:00PM in the Student Center. We will discuss summer training and our trip to Cloudcroft, New Mexico in July.  

Track&Field~ All track and field athletes must turn in their uniforms to Coach Lovell’s office by Tuesday, May 21st. The uniforms MUST be in a gallon size zip lock bag with the name of the athlete on the outside of the bag.  All uniforms must be turned in order to take your finals.

Softball~ There will be a meeting today after school for all girls who played this year JV & Varsity in Mrs. Segura's room.

Girl Basketball~ Coach Cantu will be conducting a meeting for those girls who are interested in playing basketball next season on Monday, May 13th after school. Meet in Gym.

Student Council~ Intent to run forms for Class Officer Elections are now available in the front office! Forms are due to Ms. Blanco by noon on Tuesday, May 14th!

Girls Soccer~ All interested in playing girls soccer next year there will be a mandatory meeting after school on Monday in Coach Anno's room, summer plans, schedule will be discussed.
 

Rosary Club~ Will meet today at 4:30pm in the Library for their end of the year pot-luck party. All those interested in joining us for our visit to the Childrens' Hospital this Wednesday must turn in their permission slips to Miss Angela by tomorrow Tuesday the latest. Permission slips are available at Miss Angela's office.

Renaissance~ All members of the Crazy Crew putting on our summer dinner-theater: our meeting is AFTER school TUESDAY, May 14. We need everyone to attend.

Renaissance~ Seniors, if you still have not picked up your honor cords please do so today or tomorrow because Mrs. Turner will not be in the building Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Athletics-Physicals~ Anyone interested in athletics, cheer or dance next year is required to complete and turn in an athletic physical packet to the athletic trainer BEFORE the first day of tryouts or practice. Physicals packets are available online under the Athletics tab on the Antonian website. Physicals will be held in the gym this Saturday, May 11th promptly at 9am and will cost $20. It is first come-first served, so please arrive early!

Rosary Club~ Attention all members of Rosary Club please report to Miss Angela's office at the end of the day to pick up your permission slip for the visit to the Children's Hospital next week.

Tennis~ Tennis Banquet will be Friday, May 17 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Tennis players will need to pick up their ticket and pay for additional tickets today or Friday during all 4 lunches. If you have any questions about the banquet please see Coach Santiago.

Yearbook~ For all those who are in the athletic divider picture that Michell talked to you about today has been postponed until Monday due to track state. Thank you.

Ping Pong Club~ The final Ping Pong tournament of the year will be this Thursday, May 9 after school in the cafeteria. There will be no entrance fee and all are encouraged to attend. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. See you there!

Renaissance~ Wednesday after school the Crazy Crew that is putting on this summer's dinner-theater is meeting with Mrs. Turner in room 303. If there is anyone who missed the first meeting, it is not too late. Come to this meeting and get more information and a permission slip. There is still lots of room for happy people who want to earn service hours.

Boys Basketball~ Family night out is Wednesday @Panchito's, to benefit the Boy's Basketball team!! Panchito's wil donate 10% of all non-alcohol sales to the Basketball team, so grab your family & friends, & enjoy a wonderful meal! In addition, Happy Hour is going on till 7pm on Wednesday and there's also appetizer special pricing!! Come out & support Antonian Athletics, have a great meal, and come together with your family, friends, and classmates for a night of Family Fun!!

Dance~ The Silver dancer's Annual Spring show is this Friday and Saturday at 7pm in the Gym! Tickets are $5 and can be bought from any dance team member, or at the door. Come and enjoy a great show featuring the Silver dancers and a special performance by some of your Antonian boys!

Seniors~  Senior family mass on Monday. Seniors should be in mass uniform on Monday.

Service hours~ If any students are in need of service hours, St. Matthew is in need of volunteers for its festival this weekend. Please see Mrs. Montemayor.

Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre~ The Alamo Arts Ballet Theatre company is performing their annual rendition of "Alice A Ballet Wonderland" on Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm in the Palo Alto Performing Arts Center. Antonian students performing in the production are seniors Juliette Butler and Brianna Crane and Freshman Ceci Butler and Noelle Piazzi. Tickets are $25 adult and $15 children.

Counseling Office~ Attention Juniors, deadline to sign up to take June 8 ACT is Friday, May 3. Please see the Counselors if you have questions.

Golf team~ Congratulations to the Antonian Apache golf team. Both boys and girls competed the last two days in Temple at Wildflower Country Club in the TAPPS state championship. The boys team finished fourth overall, moving up from fifth after the first round. Jason McKeown, Tyler Retzloff, Ben Kalter and Andrew Montemayor all had a good tournament. Bobby Rush and Andrew Smith both competed as individuals.The girls finished sixth overall, led by Pia Serrano with a sixth place finish individually. Casey Gaiser, Erikka Errhalt, Iliana Contreras and Valerie Owen played well also as they led Antonian to their best finish in the girls division at the state championship.This is also a reminder of team pictures Wednesday afternoon after school. All players should wear their red blouse or shirt and meet at the football field for the picture session.

Honors Convocation~ Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors, please check outside the counseling office to see if you are the recipient of an Academic Letter. If you are receiving an Academic letter, we will have a practice run through tomorrow. So be sure to check if you are on the list!
