Admissions Steps – Entering Freshmen

Step 1: Get to know us

When: Prior to and up through fall semester of candidates 8th grade year.

Antonian offers a variety of ways to get to know about the school.

  • Admissions materials – Admissions materials are updated every year and are mailed to the families of candidates beginning in September of the candidate’s 8th grade year. There is a lot of important information as well as pertinent dates contained in these mailings. To be added to the mailing list, please contact the Dean of Admissions.
  • Campus Tours - The best way to learn about Antonian is to visit the campus. Antonian facilitates this by offering an open house period for prospective students and their families. Most of the students from San Antonio Catholic grade schools will visit Antonian during the school day open house period through tours arranged by their grade school. Parents are welcome and strongly encouraged to accompany their sons/daughters during these visits. If you wish to arrange an individual tour, please contact the Dean of Admissions.
  • Open Forum Session – Each year, Antonian holds an Open Forum session for parents of candidates, which includes a presentation by the administration as well as an opportunity for questions and answers.

Step 2: Submit an application for admission

When: Applications should be received by the date of the High School Placement Test (see below)
