Who are the ACPDrama Boosters?  You!


The Drama Boosters are made up of parents whose children are in the Drama classes AND the Drama Club at Antonian.  


The Booster’s main goal of the ACP Drama program is to provide support to the Director(s) so that they can solely focus on the performers and final production.  This is managed just like any other poster organization for a sports team.  Like athletics, we have a booster club fee per student and volunteer responsibilities for parents.  Booster fees pay for locker decorations and the spring awards banquet.  We are also allowed, three fundraisers.  Our main fundraiser is concessions at any of our productions. The other two are decided and voted upon by the boosters and approved by the board early each school year.  Monies from fundraising help toward feeding cast/crew several times during the year.  Any leftover funds are directed toward the drama program’s needs. 


Drama Boosters provide:

  • Concessions for performances
  • Meals for cast and crew
  • Volunteers to work concessions
  • Volunteers as chaperones

Booster dues are $25.00 per student.
Dues are collected to help cover expenses such as:
  • Decorations for lobby during shows
  • Show Program
  • Senior Showcase
  • End of Year Banquet
  • Supplies for locker decorations
Marketing/PR: Responsible for marketing the production and obtaining publicity for the show. Also responsible for selling ads and gathering student information for the Playbill. We have a designer and printer that will take care of layout and printing. 
Props: Responsible for locating additional props needed for shows, organizing prop table, and confirming all props have been returned after each show.
Set Construction: Construct set as needed. Work is done after school and on weekends. 
Costumes: Volunteers will work with Ms. Martinez on any needs beyond what is rented for the production. Ability to mend or alter items as needed. 
Ticket Sales: Responsible for managing ticket sales during the performances. Critical to have dedicated volunteers.
Silent Auction: Responsible for obtaining silent auction items for each of the show nights. Much work is done in advance but volunteers are needed to work the show nights. 
Decorations:  Volunteers will assist in planning and installing decorations needed for the lobby outside the theater for the production. This is another committee that needs lots of volunteers to install decorations. 
Concessions: Volunteers will obtain and manage the concession stands before the show, during intermission, and after the show. This is a huge income generator for the booster club and needs as many volunteers as possible.
