A valuable program designed to help our student's personal and academic growth:
eBooks and Audio Books from Overdrive and San Antonio Public Library
Students start with an industry-first Strengths Assessment, developed by leading pediatric neuro-psychologists, that helps them discover their unique strengths, interests, and aspirations. The assessment measures 23 strength areas and connects over 200 interest areas to potential career pathways.
Using Thrively, students can explore a variety of lessons, career pathways, and projects to learn more about those things that spark their interest and help build 16 essential skills: Socal skills, life skills, 4Cs and career skills. Lessons in Thrively cover everything from social and emotional learning to college and career readiness. Career Pathways include overviews of 200 different vocations alongside engaging “day in the life” videos. Finally, Projects allow them to work collaboratively in groups while applying what they have learned.
A great program that not only "improves student writing across the curriculum with easy-to-use feedback and grading features", but also it "checks for multiple forms of plagiarism and teaches students the value of academic integrity, proper attribution, and authentic writing."
