Mrs. Adela Segura
Dean of Students
Mrs. Segura has been at Antonian for 29 years and has taught public school for 7 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in Math and a minor in English. She received her Master's from UTSA in Educational Mid-Management. She previously taught Calculus, Precalculus, Algebra II and Geometry at ACP before going into administration. She has been very involved over the years with many organizations such as NHS, Prom, and ACTS retreats which are now called IHS (In His Service) retreats. She is currently the Dean of Students and loves her job.
She has four children, Gilbert ('01), Jessica ('03), Angelica ('07) and Rebecca ('10) who are all Antonian alums. She has a daughter in law, Tamara, a grandson, Lyric, and granddaughter, Sage. Each of her children have their degrees from UTSA, UT AUSTIN, ST. MARY'S and UIW with various degrees, Education, Communications, Business and Environmental Science respectively. Angelica is currently attending Texas State University in Round Rock (Austin) for her Business Administration in Human Resources and Rebecca is attending Penn State University for her Master's Degree in Geographical Informational Systems.
She has been married to Gilbert Segura for 43 years and he too was in Education as a Band Director, Counselor and most recently SAISD's Guidance Specialist but is now retired.
Mrs. Segura loves Antonian. To her it is a "Place called Home". She truly believes in Catholic Education and hopes to continue helping students in their academics and spiritual formation while working in partnership with their parents. She wants to see that all of the students leave Antonian with a great love for God and that they will do His will always.
