Campus Ministry Banner

We believe that the holistic formation of our students includes their faith and spiritual growth.  Through Liturgy, retreats, and service opportunities, Antonian creates authentic experiences of Christian life among and for all our students.

Our Campus Ministry program offers unique and challenging opportunities through which students can deepen their understanding of themselves and their faith. We strive to engage each student in developing a deep and lasting commitment by seeking to care for the spiritual needs of all our students.

WELCOME FROM THE CAMPUS MINISTRY DEPARTMENT

Throughout the scriptures, Christians are called to live lives of service. Antonian students walk through the footsteps of our founders and the hallways of those Apaches who have become them to live a life led by faith. The Antonian Campus Ministry department fosters a continued commitment to Christian values through opportunities for spiritual growth and service on and off campus.

God bless,

Campus Ministry Department

STUDENT RETREATS

Each year students attend class retreats. These retreats take place off-campus and are a great opportunity to foster fellowship among each grade level and to have time for prayer and personal growth.

Antonian offers four grade-level retreats to examine their faith life in a safe and nurturing environment. Furthermore, Antonian offers two independent retreats throughout the year, IHS and Kairos. IHS (In His Service), a three-day retreat which covers adoration, community, theology, and service.

A day retreat led by the senior class. This day is full of fellowship and reflection to share a spiritual foundation to help freshman students transition into high school.

The sophomore class gathers together to lend their hands and hearts in service to those in need around the San Antonio area.

Led by NetMinistries, a college student team devotes a year of their lives to lead retreats for high school students. The junior class breaks up into two groups and experiences a one-day NET retreat to experience the activities and message fully.

Seniors have the option to attend one of two Kairos retreats held each year. This four-day retreat allows students to deepen their knowledge of self and God, providing them with a firm foundation as they prepare for their next steps in life.

PRESIDENTIAL VOLUNTEER SERVICE AWARD

The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is a nationally recognized program encouraging people to live a life of service.  This program encourages citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition. Any Antonian student who would like to apply for this award needs to carefully read the school requirements to be eligible.  Please be mindful that this volunteer award is separate and apart from our required ACP Christian Community Service Program.  There are different levels based on the volunteer’s age and the number of hours earned during a one-year period. ACP’s certification year runs from April 1st through March 31st.
